John Denver is a popular artist and musician who has been able to touch many by his lyrics. Most of his songs have roots in Colorado. Henry John Deutschendorf Jr. grew up in Roswell New Mexico. However, he discovered love for Colorado. The singer-songwriter eventually settled in Aspen. Denver's famous anthems about Colorado are a source of inspiration for many to relocate to Colorado. I don't think there's any other performer who embodies Colorado such as John Denver said G. Brown director of the Colorado Music Hall of Fame. Denver was the first Hall of Fame ever inductee. Denver is now the embodiment of the state to everyone around the world. On my journeys around the world, I've encountered many people who are not from Colorado. People will declare, "Oh John Denver!" when they hear that you're from Colorado. Brown said. Take Me Home Country Roads written by co-writer Bill Danoff - was Denver's first Top 10 single as a solo performer after a brief period in small folk ensembles. Danoff had written the song with the inspiration of Johnny Cash, but Denver discovered an early version and knew the song would be an instant hit in the top 10. The song was performed in Washington D.C. to a huge crowd, the singer recorded it just days from now.
