Alexandra Maria Lara (born in Romania) is the Romanian actor and TV host. She is best known for her role as the main character in Rush, Downfall Youth Without Youth Control as well as Rush. The actress was born as the sole child of Romanian film actor Valentin Platareanu. In her early teens she portrayed the lead role in several television dramas.
